Today we headed to Lincoln so that Chris could pick up his truck which had been stranded at work overnight (it doesn't do so well with starting after sitting in torrential downpours for long periods of time like the ones we had on Friday). It was a nice opportunity to see his new workplace for the first time (there is still plenty of decorating to do) and it gave me a wonderful sense of excitement for him and at the idea of him getting a fresh start. It really is true that sometimes, out of something so bad, can come something great and in this case, something better than before.
